Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I used to write fanfiction myself but I don't have the time for it anymore. However, I am a very avid reader and do enjoy reading fanfiction. I would like to help writers because as I continue to read for fun, I am continually met by small mistakes that catch my eye. Mistakes that could be taken care of with a simple beta reader. Small mistakes like that take away from a story, no matter how good it is and the smallest distractions detract from a story. As a beta, I would offer whatever help I could but I would expect my suggestions to be taken as they were meant-as constructive. I'm always open for discussion, but there's no point in me wasting my time and effort to help if suggestions are not even listened to. |
