I am a new beta-reader, but I enjoy looking at a draft of what someone has written and critiquing it such that the end result of what is published is the best that it can be and is something that the majority of the population that reads similar stories will love and appreciate. I am very thorough, some might say nit-picky, as I take it upon myself to make sure what I edit is as perfect as possible and anything that might have impaired understanding of the story is corrected. If you choose me to assist you in going over what you have written, you can expect me to take my job seriously and do as thorough of a job as I possibly can in editing your work and will try as hard as I can to live up to any requirements or expectations you might place before me.

I excel at areas involving grammar errors and gaps within character development. I think that I know what I am doing in structuring writing so that everything is clear/easy to understand to the person who is reading it, and I also believe I grasp the minds of characters I know about quite well.

Sometimes I have problems with over-describing object or places or just am overly wordy in general with what I am trying to elaborate on believing that if I don't continue to expand on something, the message or concept I am trying to convey will not come through.

I would prefer to beta stories about overcoming a characters internal struggles with his/herself and dealing with issues in the world itself. I also like romance but not anything overly dramatic or sappy.

NO LEMONS, YAOI, YURI, OR SMUT PLEASE. Stories in this area make me feel slightly uncomfortable going over and interfere with some of my personal beliefs so no stories like this please.
