I'm an SAT tutor, and so I teach grammar and essay writing for a living. Love me or hate me, but my students who listen to me usually ace their essays.

I'm a grammar freak, plain and simple. Conjunction junction, what's your function? My strengths are the cut and dry grammar rules like part of speech and punctuation errors, anything to do with agreement, verb tenses, parallelism, and all that jazz. It's and its are not the same thing, and I know the difference between who vs. whom.

Sometimes my turnaround can be a bit slow just because I can get annoyed with the whole editing-on-a-computer thing. I much prefer a hard copy and a nice red pen, but alas, that doesn't really work with these sorts of things. I also like long, flowy sentences. I do, however, try to make my edits fit in with your own writing style, not mine. Or I'll give you a few different ideas of edits.

Anything that falls into the genre of horror. Basically, if it's nightmare-inducing, it's not for me. I'm also not feeling the whole angst thing.
