As a Beta Reader, I aim to make stories generally thought of as bad at first get better, and to help people understand grammar because, even though some of us don't know it, internet speak is not proper grammar. My Beta Reading style is to read each word carefully, document each mistake I find, and then send the writer a PM with a list of each mistake and a way to fix these in a later chapter, or in a revisal to the story if they wish to do it again. The only expectations I have of people that wish to enlist my aid is that they have patience and are not easily offended/overly prideful as I tend to be blunt and go straight to the point. If people are offended by this, I advise them to either seek a different Beta, or to take writing classes before they write fanfictions and other stories.

I am extremely observant in my documentation, and am very careful when documenting and sending the PM as I don't want the person to be angry and say hurtful things, I merely want to help them improve. I try to remain on point and to not drift away from the point, unless what I am drifting off on has to do with the point.

I can suffer from a lapse of attention when reading if I am bored, but I try to keep myself from doing so. I also am VERY on point when it comes to grammar, spelling, and whether or not the writer is full of potential, or wasting their time, but I try to find the best outcome possible. I also am very quick to point out a word that seems fake, even though it could be real, and I have just never heard of it before. As a writer I began horribly, although, with tips from my readers, I got better. My paragraphs were horribly spaced and sloppily written.

I prefer stories that remain realistic to the subject. A case I choose to point out is using human words in a lemon fanfic for certain Warriors fanfics I have read. Such words are dick, cock, cum, and many other words I will not type as I am a person who attempts to refrain from swearing as much as possible.
