I'm a prolific writer and a voracious reader with good grammar and better spelling. I also have a rather large vocabulary if you're searching for a way to say something. I'm a stickler for good spelling but if it is speech or a character's thoughts I'm happy with dialects although I may suggest alterations if it gets hard to read or starts disrupting the flow of the story. I'm pretty flexible with grammar/syntax as I feel that style and flow are more important (as long as it's readable). br /

I like to read a story through and correct basic spelling and grammar first. I put the corrections within the text (but in red so you can see them). Then, once I've re-read (and re-read and re-read) I will make suggestions in a separate document for anything I think needs rephrasing or rethinking and things that need to be expanded or cut. I will also try and find any plot holes and characterization issues for you. After you've read and reviewed and done any changes you want to make I'll then read it again for you if you want me to and see if there's anything else. I'm go back and forth as many times as you want. Also if you just want to discuss ideas instead of have me read something I can do that /

I'm happy to comment on character development or world building and any concepts that you want to introduce to your story that don't already exist in canon/reality. If you are doing this in your story I request that you think about background and if possible provide me with some idea of how the character/world/concept came about. This is generally the stuff that you don't include in your stories but as an author you know anyway and helps form your writing. For example, if you have a werewolf character you need to know which set of rules you're going to follow (either pre-existing or your own). There are several questions you need to answer; how are they made? what type of wolf/creature do they turn into? how do you hurt/kill them? Do they remember everything? Can they control themselves? Etc. This sort of thing helps me spot logic holes and keeps the story from becoming hopelessly tangled. If you don't have this already in mind I'm happy to be a sounding board for any ideas you have, it's one of my favourite bits in the writing /

Also anything medical, if you want a character to sound like a medical professional, can't figure out how the hell they've survived the last thing you did to them or need to know whether such and such a thing is possible I'm your gal. Also if you really need something to be possible I can try and finagle a vaguely believable work around to make it less "deus ex machina" and more "wow I didn't know that". br /

I'm pretty good with science stuff in general and also myths, legends and folklore.

I can sometimes get very busy and if a story is very long it may take me some time to finish. While I'm good at grammar, I'm not infallible and may be overly fond of commas and semicolons. I also like long flowing sentences and paragraphs, it's just my style. If I write a suggestion for a rephrasing I'll try and make it fit with your style but I may get carried away, so you'll have to check to make sure it fits (although hopefully I'll find it on the next read through). I am British and so is my spelling and grammar however, I do take into account /

I'm not a big fan of MPreg, there never seems to be a satisfactory explanation for it and I think that the end result should invariably be death of the "mother". I've only ever read one that impressed me with the concept of how it came about. However, if you've got a good idea for an MPreg story feel free to take that as a challenge
