I am a hobbyist writer primarily focused on the moment-to-moment experience of reading a story. This focus is arguably to my detriment as overarching plots and narrative stakes tend to not concern me. I care a lot about good sentence flow and deep and/or nuanced character interactions, so most of my feedback will involve those two things. In contrast, I don't really care about plot holes and narrative inconsistencies, but I'll point them out when I notice them.

I'm good at writing long, meandering, but consistently interesting dialogue scenes, short but impactful fight scenes, and viscerally emotional scenes that usually involve anger, anxiety, fear, and longing. I'm also good at finding depth in shallow-seeming characters, and theory crafting the kind of interactions that two or more characters may have, even if those characters have never interacted in canon. If you're writing a character-centric slice of life story, I'd love to help with it.

As I said in my bio, I focus on the moment-to-moment, and I don't really make long-term plans for my story other than vague directions and a loosely drafted ending. A lot of the "flaws" of my writing involve not setting an end-goal for my characters, therefore not giving readers enough of a reason to continue reading. If you're writing a tightly paced narrative with high stakes and pay-off, and you need help with your plot stuff, I'm probably not the right person to turn to.

I'd love to write for character-centric stories, or stories with interesting relationships/character dynamics.

I'll decide on a case-by-case basis. Some stories will hold my interest, some will not.
