Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Please at least attempt to write decently. I will not beta fics that are littered with spelling and grammar mistakes or internet lingo ("u" instead of "you" makes me cringe! How hard is it to type two more letters? I find it lazy and a complete disregard for the English language). br /br /br / br /br / br / I can look over fics pretty quickly. A 2000-2500 word chapter might take me a day or two while a chapter of 5000 words or more might take me about 3-7 days. I rarely take longer than that. |

I am a good speller and decent with grammar. I can help with characterization, plot related stuff, and brainstorming ideas as well. |

I am not very good at writing sex, sci-fi or action scenes. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I'd love to beta romance, drama, and family fics, and some comedy if it isn't overly crack-ish. I prefer to stay within the fandoms listed in my profile, but I may branch out sometimes. Note: For Power Rangers fics, I am most comfortable with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers featuring the original Rangers. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I would prefer not to read song fics, extreme blood and gore, or fics that have less than 1000 words per chapter with the exception of drabbles. No BDSM or fetish /br /br / br /br / br / I will not work on Naruto, Bleach, Harry Potter, Frozen, or Twilight fics. No exceptions! If you're asking me to beta in a fandom I'm not familiar with, I may not be much help there besides fixing grammatical errors. |
