I've beta'ed for other authors (some on this site), and I always try to help to the best of my abilities. I go through a story/chapter once to take note of any grammar problems, then again to check the flow style and any other issues the author would like me to take note of.

As a note: I don't accept every request I receive. This is due to either me not having the required time, or the story contains some of the items listed in the section below. However, the majority of them-I beta.

For the most part, I tend to read dramatic fiction, but I like a good crack/parody fic every now and then.

I'm generally good with my grammar skills. And helpful with dialogue and plot items, such as plot twists and detail.

My biggest weakness is time, really. As a beta reader, I can only dedicate my services roughly once every two months, which is not preferable to the authors seeking to update their stories more frequently than that...

I prefer beta'ing fanfiction under the series of Naruto, Inuyasha, Harry Potter, Fullmetal Alchemist, Ouran High School Host Club, Rurouni Kenshin, Hellsing, Devil May Cry, and Scrapped Princess.

I would prefer to beta stories that have generally 1000+ word-chapters, or one-shots with more than 2500 words. It gets me involved into the plot so I can do my job better.

I don't usually read yaoi (male/male) or yuri (female/female), but if the author is requesting my services, I will try to help them as best I can. Also, I will not compose lemons. I will correct anything within one, but I will not write one from scratch. I feel that it's the author's duty if they wish to add one in their work. Anything else, I will be happy to help with.
