I, as a beta-reader, am 100% honest to someone, including the bluntness. If I think something won't work in a story, I'll say just that. However, I'll make sure to look at the genre too to make sure that it won't work. The first time I'll look at something, I'll proofread it and note any mistakes. Then I'll read it again for either further proofreading or to see if whatever is going on is good for the particular story. After that, I'll do one brief lookthrough to make sure everything's good. I'm better in terms of adventure and comedy, but I'm also trying to broaden out and see what I can tackle, so try anything.

Adventure, comedy, a little hurt/comfort. I know these areas quite well. Also, while I am brutally honest, I do avoid being rude, so I'm not planning to bash on anyone's story unless I REALLY think that's deserved. Which shouldn't happen. Hopefully.

Being brutally honest, I know that can be some of a turn-off for you guys. I'm also not exactly the most flexible person. Plus, there are a few good genres I can't tackle well enough (horror and such), but again, try anything.

ADVENTURE, COMEDY, and slight hurt/comfort. Trust me. I know how to make people have a good time, laugh, and cry.

I DON'T know how to scare people though. Try not to send me TOO much horror ideas.
