I am no one's beta as of yet, and thus, I do not know my style. I suppose I expect anyone who wishes to acquire my services to truly want help, and be willing to accept constructive criticism.

I am skilled (in order from strongest to weakest) in spellchecking, grammar checking, and various mechanical functions. I possess a certain aptitude for poetic language and character development through narration.

Making extensive changes to a piece of writing poses quite a bit of difficulty, especially when the writing is not my own. If I do not have a good grasp of what a person wants their woprk to be like, I feel uncomfortable making changes to it. Descriptions of characters are also not my strong suit. There is definitely a level of finesse required to tactfully describe a character without becoming excessive; my grasp of this skill is rather variable.

Anything, really...novellas, short stories, one-shots, etc. are probably the stories I would prefer to beta, though. Also, I would prefer fandoms I am familiar with (Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies, Inkheart, Lord of the Rings, A Knight's Tale, things like that. Legion, Epic, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Hunger Games, Maleficent, The Kane Chronicles or Percy Jackson, etc. are possibilities.)

Poems, songs, and similar pieces would be difficult to betaread as the writer has, essentially, complete stylistic control.
