I started beta reading this year over the course of the Quidditch League Fanfiction Competition. I enjoyed helping my teammates to improve their stories.

The time I need to look over your work will vary based on things such as the word count, the number of mistakes, and how interested and/or emotionally invested I am in your story. And my real life of course. I do procrastinate, but if you give me a reasonable deadline I will either meet it or tell you why I will not be able to as soon as I realize that will be the case.

I prefer to work via Google Docs, but if you want to use the DocX system the site provides, I will be accept that too. Be aware that I will comment on things I like and dislike as well as what I correct when I work with Google Docs. Either way, PM me and we will sort out the details.

Also, when I say I beta for the movie Avengers, I mean that I beta for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, although I am not up to date with any of the TV shows.

I would say that my strength lies with characters. I am reasonably good at spotting issues concerning the flow of a story.

I am not a native speaker of the English language, so I may overlook some grammar mistakes or spot some that do not exist. I think I have gotten pretty good at it, but I cannot make any promises.

I am not good at things such as britpicking. I may pick up on some of it, but there are things that I as a German will just not be able to spot.

I can't say that generally. If your idea is original, then I will most likely like it. I like most genres and will read cliches too.

I don't like huge age gaps, though I will accept it. What I point blank refuse however, is incest. Nothing explicit.
