I love reading fanfiction, and I'll give almost anything a shot. I've been writing for seven years now and I'm now very experienced in creating a good plot and in-depth characters and correct grammar usage. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm really good at adding fluff between characters. I have a knack for really being able to look inside the mind of my characters and feel how they're feeling. Because I'm extremely empathetic, sometimes when I'm writing about a character feeling really emotional and crying, tears begin running down my own cheeks as I take on the emotions of my character. This really allows me to connect with my characters and make them more relatable. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Sometimes, I have a tendency to rush relationships and make people fall in love too fast. Lately, I've been getting a lot better at doing a slow-burn romance. I tend to make the tiniest grammar or typing errors that go unnoticed for a long period of time, until I've read over the story five million times, and even then I still don't find everything. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I prefer things related to my fandoms and ships in that fandom (all of which you can see on my profile). I will turn you down if you ask me to betaread something for a fandom I am unfamiliar with since I won't be any help if I don't know the story or the characters. I prefer reading finished stories since I like to have an end in sight. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I will not betaread anything with excessive language or excessive sexual content. So no swearing every two words and no smut. Sensual stuff is fine, but keep it PG13. I will also not betaread any slash of any kind. |
