Hi! I'm ready to try this beta-reading thing; I've had tons of experience with proofreading in the past, and a good bit of experience with concrit reviewing too. I don't mind making some slight grammar and spelling corrections, but please check over your own work first, use a spellchecker, and do your very best with the grammar. Overall though, I'm pretty laid-back. I'll point out problems in style, structure, or continuity, but I probably won't tell you what to do with the plot unless something's seriously going wrong. I'm also more than happy to explain rules of grammar and stuff, instead of just giving corrections.

Between me and a spellchecker, grammar and spelling mistakes do not get by. I can tell when a sentence just doesn't feel right, or when a word is being used incorrectly. Plus I'm told I give pretty good advice and explain stuff clearly.

I may be a little over-lenient or over-harsh, depending on the story. If you have millions and millions of grammar mistakes, I may ignore the more minor ones, and if you want help actually figuring out the plot, I can't guarantee how much help I'll be. In terms of writing, I'm a little over-fond of semicolons and adverbs, and tend to overuse certain words such as "glanced."

Humor and friendship stories especially. Family, hurt/comfort, any warm-fuzzy type of stuff. Some romance too, depending on the pairing. For Sonic, stories in the game or Sonic X continuity are my favorites. For Pokémon, I do better with the anime than the games, but can handle either as long as it's not too deeply technical. For all others pretty much anything goes.

No high school stories or other AUs, no OC-centric stories. One or two minor OC's, especially well-written ones, I'll take. Otherwise, no. Also no Shadamy, and absolutely NO yaoi/yuri. I also will not beta-read anything M-rated, or that should be M-rated. For Sonic, I'd prefer not to do SatAM, Archie, or Sonic Underground fics, since I'm not very good at any of those Sonic series.
