I specialize in spelling and syntax, however, I am willing to be an idea-well for interactions and/or implementations of lore in the Halo or Mass Effect universe. I will make the corrections myself if possible/if desired by the author. I am also willing to simply leave comments about corrections if so desired as well. My expectations are simple: maintain a meaningful dialogue. I'm certainly willing to joke around, however, I will not tolerate insults. If you don't like an idea I present then just say so and don't use it. I do not expect any problems to arise from this expectation as it is derived from standard social interaction and I only include it because this is the internet. I do not have any expectations regarding quality of writing or length. I understand that some people are either new to the language of English or simply have a hard time writing it. That is fine by me, I've written reviews of up to and exceeding 10,000 words on various writing sites to correct horrendous errors. I have experience in correcting and interpreting non-native language speakers and I am perfectly happy to translate a story from a native language or correct a translation if that is so desired.

I am strong in correcting spelling and syntactical errors. I can help with the flow of a story and can advise as to natural dialogue from characters.

My weaknesses in betareading are detailed character descriptions and OC's. For OC's, unless if an OC is actually well written and has a personality, I cannot truly proofread the dialogue from the character except for general rules of the English language. Character descriptions are a weakness as no matter how well detailed a description is, everyone has a different mental image, ergo my description may differ from the author's. I can of course edit a description for syntax, but actually describing the character needs to be done by the author for what image that have of their character.

Halo and/or Mass Effect stories are my specialty for lore. I can also deal with both in a crossover comparison scenario. I am fine to read all stories and/or crossovers for spelling errors. Lore for anything outside of a select few categories will be retrieved from Google, something that should be done by the author in any case. For my preferred beta categories, I know most lore off the top of my head but I will defer to reputable sources if contradictory information appears as new lore comes out. (Looking at you, Halo 5)

Illogical stories are the bane of my existence. I CAN read them, but along with that comes fair warning that I will criticize them heavily if the plot is driven by stupidity. Don't let that discourage you, those stories are rare, but they do exist and thus I must mention them.
