Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Hi, I'm a writer myself on the genres of Romance, Angst, Hurt & Comfort, Mystery, Suspense and to several degrees of Supernatural. The basic expectations that I require to accept your beta request is accurate grammar, spelling and a basic plot line for me to help you edit. I have been in this communtiy for about three years and I love reading the stories posted here and I absolutely love editing.I will be attentive to your vocabulary and if you have added any specific Quotes or require any specific Quotes, I will be happy to help you introduce some form of literacy to your story. My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Truthfully, In terms of writing I dislike any characters whether self imagined (OC) or already present to be in the story to be a Mary Sue. Where there are no obvious flaws to their character or they are under-developed. I tend to use descriptive words in writing as I believe that the art of writing is to entrance the reader to read more. I'm good in Vocabulary, Quotes or Character Description along with fixing plot holes. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I am absolutely horrible at trying to switch active voices to passive voices. My limitation is one to fifteen dialog per chapter. I will take some time to help to process your submissions. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I'll do most of the Genres, I don't have a problem with them except the adventure and action Genre. I have a profound knowledge on certain Anime's but if your story is interesting and I don't know the fandom. I'll try my best to beta it but I can be clueless at the certain character's unique personality but I myself will do some homework on the basic information of the fandom. |
