New to FanFiction, not new to editing. Before opening up shop here, I worked as the head editor for my school's newspaper. I will admit to being something of a stickler for grammar, and I tend to be a little short with people who don't follow my advice. That said, my advice is optional, though I may not appreciate being ignored. I beta anything from K to M, though usually I prefer stories T and up. I beta all types of stories, straight or gay, so don't expect rejection based solely on your pairing preference. For people who want to know what to expect: I tend to lean more towards being harsh the first time over and then getting nicer as we progress. Expect me to want to make changes, and not just offer suggestions. If I see something that needs to be fixed, I will fix it. If we work together, hopefully, it will be through Google Docs, so I can explain what's happening as it happens.

I excel at fixing characterization and grammar. I can also coach in descriptive writing. I am NOT afraid to point out a Mary-Sue OC.

Writing fight scenes is something I dread. I'm pretty terrible at advising on romance if it's a couple I don't like.

I like action/adventure and horror stories, so if you have those, please, please send them to me. Also: Alternate universes. I love them.

I'm not a fan of 'slice of life' stories or crossovers. It'd probably be better to just ask me if you think I'm a good option.
