I treat any writing that I beta as I would treat my own - very critically, constantly looking for new ways to make it better. If I think a plot line could have something added to make it flow better, I will suggest it for you to write in yourself. People have different reasons for having a beta. Some people get a beta to just catch small mistakes anyone would make, and some get one to get suggestions and improve the quality of their writing. To anyone who wants a beta for the latter reason, please try to learn from the person who is beta reading your story; don't just have the person edit it and forget to make improvements yourself.

I'm pretty good at grammar, and have a lot of different ways of looking at things and piecing plots together for when you get stuck. I also have previous experience as a beta. I pick up on personalities pretty quickly. So if your view of the character is close to the one in the actual series, I'll eventually be able to tell you, "I don't think this character would do that."

I am human and sometimes overlook things. Also, if I don't know the series, then of course I can't correct any OOC moments. I'm not that informed on anime anymore. So if you're looking for someone who is very big on anime, I'm not the right person.

I would prefer to beta stories about series that I actually know, but I would beta anything.

It doesn't matter to me what I'm betareading, as long as you are aware of the fact that I can't help you with whether or not the character is OOC if it's a series I don't know. I can only tell you whether the character is acting different from how you usually depict them. I also take any sort of pairing, gay or straight.
