Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I generally have a laid-back attitude towards beta reading. I'll give you some advice of sentence structure, use of dialogue, just about anything that needs done. I can answer specific questions for you, such as if the canon characters are OOC, show you spelling and grammar errors, etc. I communicate through PM, you can send works to be critiqued via a message, as I'm not good with the DocX thing. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm good at dialogue, grammar, spelling and sentence structure. I can also look for discrepancies in the terms and facts you use in a story if you wish to stick to the canon. br /br /br /br / br /br / br / br /br /br / br / br /br / br / I'm also good at giving advice for writer's block, such as if you are trying to write a specific scene but don't know how to put the dialogue. I can help you there, and suggest ideas. You don't have to credit me. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I do have problems staying connected to the internet sometimes, and I will notify you should I go on hiatus because of /br /br /br / br /br / br / br /br /br / br / br /br / br / I am not good at poetry, song lyrics or the like. I am also terrible at M rated scenes, and do not prefer them. I have no skill in writing out fight scenes, so I cannot give you advice on that. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I'll read any genre. I do prefer a romance or adventure story, and the occasional angst. I'll read mostly anything you'd like me to. |
