Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Hi, my main focus is grammatical and spelling issues as well as plot and characterisation within the stories. The only thing I would ask of anyone who wants me to beta for them to be willing to work with me to fix any errors. Also, if you're writing for an English fandom, I'm happy to Brit-pick for anyone. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I've been reading fanfiction for a good many years so my strengths are mainly polishing the small errors or typos. Also, I'm good at keeping to deadlines, which, is important if you're working on a longer story. And I am completely prepared to do research or fact-check if needs be. I have read stories for many different fandoms, even if I don't have experience writing for them. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I'm not great with plot ideas and I have little experience with betareading, but I can assure you I will try my best. Also, I've never written anything M rated, though I have read a lot. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I have no real preferences, though I have more experience with romance and angst-filled stories. Fantasy or AU's are personal favourites of mine, as well. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I'm not a huge fan of violence or abuse, but I am still happy to read them. |
