Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
As a beta reader, well, I can't tell much since I've never done it before, but from what I've seen and what I am capable of as a writer, I'll majorly correct anything wrong with grammar and help you make the phases and/or paragraphs clearer. Also, if the second is required, I'll probably just talk with you on how you can get better, because I think this way the work becomes more personal. But, then again, if you just want me, I can edit your text and send it to you. Even though I'm a very sincere person, I'm not one of those who just says something to your face dry and rough, so if your text needs adivices and changes, I'm not AT ALL going to be rude, so yeah, you don't need to be afraid, I'm a very easy person to work with. My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Well, being the perfeccionist/grammar nazi I am, I would say my greatest strenght will be grammar. Also, meaning of phases, paragraphs and periods and repetition of names are some of my strong assets. Metaphores and figurative language, those types of things I'm also good at, and if I'm not forgetting anything, I guess this is it. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I suck at developing good and consistent dialogues, so well, probably you will have to develop them on your own. I can see if it needs fixing or not, but developing it, well, that's another story. Besides that, I don't remember right now anything else, but if I have a problem with some aspect I found in your story, I'll let you know I suck at that too, and we'll figure a way out,two heads are better than one. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
Well, my favorite pairings involve Sam/Kurt from Glee, Loki/Thor from Thor/Avengers and Steve/Phil also from the Avengers, but I will enjoy reading anything related to boys/boys, including yaoi, because well, I have my otaku side too. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I would prefer not adventuring into the girl on girl world, but if you ask me, I could easily read it for you. Besides that, well, I think I would read anything. |
