Hello! I am Kika, and have been betareading for years! I've always read for friends, but as some of their writing is slowing down, I've decided to sign up here to take on a few extra assignments :-)

My strength is definitely grammar. I admit fully to being a grammar-Nazi when writing, though you could likely not tell that if we were just chatting online! I will point out every teeny tiny grammar mistake. I'm also good at catching awkward wordings; for example, if a sentence goes on too long, or if you wander off point in the middle of a paragraph.

My main weakness is not wanting to hurt your feelings! I am a huge supporter of each writer having their own unique style, so I have to figure out where to draw the line between what is 'wrong' and what is your style that just may differ from the norm. I often tend to just fix problems rather than point them out so as to spare your feelings, but that really will not help you grow as a writer, so hopefully that is something we can work on together.

I love all sorts of stuff! Fandoms I actively participate in include Supernatural, Almost Human, Star Trek, Pacific Rim, Avengers/M:AOS, LOTR, Welcome to Night Vale, and a wide assortment of books, games, and anime. I prefer stories with some sort of romantic plot, but the romance can be between people of any gender or number.

I hate rapefics. If there is rape in your fic that is anything other than traumatic and used for character growth, I would really prefer not to read it. That said, I do not count roleplaying or domination as rape, so if you have any of those - bring them on! :-)
