As a frequent reader and author of fanfiction, I like to be thorough when I edit others stories. I look for grammar, spelling, plot structure, and I make sure the writing of character are in character unless it is stated that they will be ooc on purpose. When I edit others stories, I reread multiple times in order to make sure I've found all errors and I will offer suggestions if I think they are needed.

I am good with grammar and dialogue. I've been studying english in college and easily understand the rules of grammar and sentence structure. In the aspect of dialogue, I can easily see if it fits with the character speaking and sounds like them or something they would actually said in given /br /br /br /

I can also distinguish between American English and England English in terms of spelling so I'll know if you're spelling a different way than I would and will not correct you as it is the correct spelling in another country.

As a writer I often have trouble with the pace of a story and how fast or slow it flows when read.

I prefer stories that have romance, horror, angst, and things that follow canon. I'm also a sucker for whump fics. As far as canon goes, if it's an AU I'm all for it as long as it makes sense and is realistic.

AU's that are too far from canon to be believable are not strong point. I also shy away from major character deaths that are not already canon.
