Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
My goal is to help authors improve their writing in as many ways as possible! I will beta read literally anything as long as it's a topic I am familiar with. I try to be nice, but I'm extremely nit-picky, especially when it comes to grammar. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm very rigorous when it comes to grammar and spelling. I'm also good with word use and creating impact. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I tend to go MIA every now and then, and I'll disappear for a month or two without any updates or signs of life. I'm trying my best not to do that as much, but just so you know. I'm also sometimes rather blunt. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
My best category is Pirate101. I will beta any genre, and I'm fine with excessive gore, violence, horror, tragedy, depressing stories, etc. If I read a story containing a Mary-Sue, I'll still read it, but I'll have a lot to say about it. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I won't read anything under a topic that I'm not familiar with, because then I won't be able to help with the plot much. |
