I am a very in-depth beta. I fix/comment on problems from grammatical errors to tone and pace. I am a relative expert in English since I am native speaker, been trained in proper English writing, and have an intense and creative writing style. I even almost became a writing counselor at my college (due to time and other issues, I could not do it).br /br /
I am busy with real-life work since I am trying to get a job, so I ask for only one-shots or short works (to be complete at under 10,000 words) for beta-ing right /

I have been told I am an excellent proof reader (albeit usually, I am called a 'hardass' about it at the time) by my friends, who always manage to get me to read their drafts. Their lovely nicknamed for me, as I have found out, is "The Grammar General." They say, along with my great grammatical correcting abilities, my constant need to add imagery or concise verbiage to their papers makes me their dearest friend-who helps them increase their paper grade by at least 1/3 of a letter grade.;pbr /

I also, along with my need for correct English grammar, have a need for correct French grammar. So I help with the general french translations for non-french speakers as well. This is because, while Google and Bablefish are a help sometimes, they do not get the grammar correct for all situations. I am currently at the B2 level (high-intermediate) in French written comprehension.

I have also learned that I have "Oh shiny" syndrome. A.k.a. my inbox overflows everyday and I easily forget things. If you want me to help, you will need to PM a few times. Just be polite, I won't mind. I recognize my flaws.
