I am interested in helping people develop their writing to be the best it can be. I believe that everyone has a unique voice and style, and that fanfiction is a great way to hone your writing skills. When betareading, I try to get a feel for what the author is trying to say in their piece and tailor my commentary to their point of view.

I want the authors that I betaread for to have a good idea of why they're writing, and to have some ideas of what the things are that they want to explore or say in their writing.

I'm great at developing complicated characters, describing and setting a scene, and using objects or settings in the story in a symbolic way. I'm well pretty well read in the classics, so that's closer to my ideal writing style.

Not as interested in clever plotting, or particularly skilled at developing it, either. I'm not great at writing snappy dialogue. I suck at writing humor.

Fantasy epics, dramas, character-driven as opposed to plot-driven stories. Anything dark and angsty.

Silly and/or goofy stories, PWP.
