I've never done betareading before; I'm used to workshopping pieces face-to-face with the person. I ultimately prefer taking a hard copy of the story and just writing all over it, but since that can't be done on the internet, I'll do the next best thing, which I guess is sending out detailed e-mails or private messages.

I'm really good with grammar. I'm a writing major and am trying to get into publishing. I've had a lot of experience workshopping pieces. I try to give constructive criticism, and I try to be honest at all times.

If I don't like your story/character/whatever, I'll probably just come right out and say so. I can come off as mean sometimes, but I'm working on that. I've been called a "grammar nazi," and that's true. I'm really good with grammar, and spelling errors tend to irritate me. If your character is a "Mary Sue," I will call you on it. But I'll make an effort to be nice about it. I guess my main weakness is that I can come across as mean without intending to be.

I'll beta most X-Men related fics and Disney fics. If it's based on a Disney film that I haven't seen, then I won't review it until I've gotten a chance to see the film.

No anime. And no Harry Potter, I'm a little sick of it right now.
