I'm a nineteen year-old university student and Harry Potter fanatic. I am honest but not mean, so whilst I will point out as many mistakes as I can find and tell you if I don't like something, I also promise to point out all the things I like and that I think you've done right. Also, whilst most of my beta-profile is about Harry Potter, this is just because I think I'm unlikely to get beta-requests for the other categories I've put down. I'm only down to beta-read for categories I know really, really well (things I've studied in detail, and one play I've directed) so I can promise you that if I'm registered for it I'm definately capable of betaing for it :)

I know far too much about Harry Potter, so if you need help on any canon details I'm pretty good at that. I can be a bit of a grammar nazi and mistakes tend to stick out to me. I'm also British so I can help non-Brits acquire the Britishness that is present in the Harry Potter books. I will also most likely get things back to you within a day or two (depending on length), as I spend way too much time on this site.

I'm probably better at helping with descriptive writing than dialogue and I can be a bit nit-picky when it comes to grammar and canon-compliance in canon stories.

I generally prefer canon storylines, but I'm happy to read any AU as long as people are in character or have a good reason for behaving out of character. I have a list of my favourite characters/pairings on my profile but I'm willing to read any characters/pairings/OCs/ratings.

I'd rather not beta-read poetry. I don't write poetry and don't read very much of it (not in English anyway), so I probably wouldn't be very helpful.
