I've been writing for as long as can remember, and always loved books. When I was 6 I was introduced to Harry Potter and developed a love for it that has never diminished. I began writing fanfiction for it, and as I got older, and fell in love with Doctor Who, Sherlock, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and much more, I began to fall in love with the fanfiction community in general. It takes a great deal of love to want to forge a place in someone else's fictional world, doesn't it? I've been keen to offer my services as a beta for a while now, primarily because I adore being able to watch someone's work grow from the early stages. I did a spot of work experience at a publishing company a little while ago, and grew quite good at the editing process, something which I have always found to be the easiest part of writing. If you are interested in having me read over your work, I ask that you be open to criticism. I understand how terrifying it can be to have someone else read something you have slaved over, particularly if they are looking for mistakes, but please understand I have no desire to attack your work. I just want to help you get it to it's best.

I'm particularly good at picking up inconsistencies, breaks from the source material, and out of character moments. I'm good at helping you keep the pace of your work, and a little bit brutal at stamping out repetitiveness (this used to be a weakness of my writing, but I've gotten much better).

I can't promise to pick up your every spelling mistake. The subject has always been a weakness of mine (though modern technology does wonders for this).

I would rather read something with a fair few chapters, a plot line, and a lot of character development.

I'd rather not betaread anything that you are writing a chapter at a time. If you don't know where the plot is going I can't know what feeling you are trying to build. Please have at least a plan of your story worked out before asking me to read your work. I'd also rather avoid AU stories, and stories with an OC as the main character.
