I love reading and have been reading various genres for a long time, so I feel that I am fairly good at noticing mistakes. To date, I have minimal experience as a Beta reader but even when I'm reading for pleasure I have a running commentary to myself of what works, what doesn't and why, what mistakes there are and how it could sound better, etc. I'm willing to try any genre but if I truly just can't handle it part way through than I will tell you right off. I will do my best to read, correct and get back to you quickly but I am a full time student and school will come first. I do expect anyone I Beta for to be patient (to a point of course) for me to get back to them and if I'm getting swamped with work then I'll let you know and you can decide to wait or get a new Beta. I've read many many books and am familiar with some more than others. I can't tell you everything I know off the top of my head so if you have a story other than what I've listed you can always ask if I'm up to reading it.

I'm probably best with things such as spelling, punctuation, grammar, sentence flow etc. as well as helping with canon issues (depending on how familiar I am with the particular fandom)

I'm not the greatest with helping with big complicated plots or advising you on how it should go; you're the author, not me.

As I've said, I'll try anything.

I'd prefer to stay away from things such as self harm/mutilation, depression etc. Again, I'm willing to try anything but fair warning
