I am quite adept with grammar, and I am fairly practiced at spotting spelling mistakes. I edit my friends' work often enough to have skill with it. I would prefer that you try to look over your work before handing it over so that I know how experienced you are as well, but that is not a requirement. I might have suggestions plot-wise, but you are free to ignore them. I will make sure to look over your work more than once before giving it back so that I have edited it to the best of my abilities. If you find any mistakes, please point them out to me so that I can properly apologize and learn from the failure. That's about all I have to say, I suppose.

I know my grammar rules, and I can spot most spelling mistakes. If I know the plot of your story, I will point out any continuity errors, plot holes, or character problems I find. If you wish, I can rewrite things that seem stiff or don't flow.

I am sometimes more critical than I mean to be. I try to be kind, but sometimes my mental filter slips. Also, I sometimes struggle with spellings for more outlandish words. I can usually tell that the word is spelled wrong, but I don't always know what the correct spelling is. Also, my characters do slip occasionally. So if you are looking for that kind of help, I have to know the characters very well. However, I will try my best in all areas of beta-reading.

I always like a good romance, but I'm open to new things. I simply have to know the basic plot line of what you're basing your fanfiction on to be able to beta it. Obviously, I prefer the categories I like most, including Avatar: the Last Airbender, Kickin' It, Les Misérables the musical, Firefly, Quest for Camelot, Hocus Pocus, and a few others. But I am open to trying new things. I would also like beta-reading a story better if it followed the romantic inclinations that I have chosen, but I will still beta those that don't.

The only things I won't beta are categories I don't know and writings that I don't know how to fix. If you write in a completely different style, I might not be able to help with the storyline. That limits my ability to beta. Other than that, bring it on!
