Hello all! The way I like to do things is by communication to ensure as little misconceptions and misunderstandings as possible. When I betaread someone's story what I do is I read the material/chapter(s) they send me and critique it. I also give ideas and suggestions and if I have the time provide a source or reference for certain information I give.

I'm good at focusing on and keeping up with continuity. When the story is trying to keep as "in character" as possible, if I know the show I will be able to help with that goal as I can get a bit obsessively knowledgeable on some characters from shows to the point where I analyze everything about them and am able to theorize and go on a whole other tangent on what would happen if certain factors had not surfaced in their life. I'm pretty good at grammar and catching spelling errors. I will also be honest on how interesting I find your story line to be without being too purposely insulting. I always respond to any message I receive when I see it.

I can get a little too into something sometimes and I am distracted easily by things going on in my life or a new chapter update from a fic in my fav list. Sometimes I do not login for months at a time. I am not perfect at catching incorrect grammar and spelling. And I may ask a lot of questions about your story that may irritate or confuse you.

I would prefer to beta stories on series I actually know and that I think would actually be something interesting. I'm more fond of comedy, action, drama, romance, crack, parody, dark genres that have a "happy ending" for the main character. I'd preffer to beta some type of anime/manga series or Harry Potter as it's more likely I'd know it, though I do know of plenty of other series whether they are cartoons, movies or books. It all just depends so feel free to ask.

I would not and will not beta read incest, certain couples/ ships, or disgusting filth that pertains to the nasty bodily functions and focuses on it for example: eating mucus, rubbing feces on oneself or others or objects, urinating on people, spitting on people, /

Nor would I like to read stories that only completely focuses on gore and horror. I don't much care for reading things that are meant to scare or depress.
