If you're looking just to be told how great your story is, don't come to me. I'm a very straight-forward person who has a passion for writing and improving. If you're looking to improve, I'll gladly give you every bit of my energy to help you out. I will fix anything from small grammar mistakes to entire plot suggestions if I see a hole somewhere. I will never be outright rude, but I don't sugar-coat things since it's a waste of time and there's no muscle growth on an all-sugar diet. My style changes as I age. I'm only 19, so I still have some growing to do in the maturity level of my writing. I'm also taking several writing classes, so as I further in these classes, I might change my style. I am very well-versed in all the basics such as consistency in a story, grammar, punctuation use, steady plot lines, and etc. Here lately I've been really well focused on character motivations and developing believable situations and character reactions and interactions with their environment and situation.

I tend to be a fast reader and might skim over a misspelling or omitted word because my brain automatically fills in the correction for me. I take 2-3 read throughs to catch the smaller stuff, especially, for example, a spelling of "teh" instead of "the" or "adn" instead of "and."

I would prefer to beta stories based in a world that I'm familiar with. For example, I know a lot about Pokemon and very little about Digimon, so I'm less likely to agree to the latter.

There's not much I won't read if you really need a beta. I'm not super big on gorey or awful kink fanfics. I also have a very large issue with rape, even if it's a BDSM situation and the "rape" is faked for the sake of the BDSM play. It's a trigger for me. That's about the only story type I will 100% turn down every time.
