Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Hello everyone; I'm SweetDragonSeeker, But you can call me Seeker, or Cora, if you prefer. I do quite a bit of beta-ing for my friends when they write, or for my mom, as well as having a degree in both English and education, so I've had plenty of experience. In addition, I have been writing since I was little, so I have a fairly large vocabulary and love to use it. I will point out the good stuff in your work, as well as providing constructive criticism. I do work a ful time job, however, so it might take me a while to get back to you. PM me if you would like to discuss a project; I like to talk to the people I'm betaing for. My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm pretty good at catching grammar mistakes, and I'll help to ensure that your plot flows by noting plot holes or gaps in your narrative. I will also keep track of if a character appears OOC in any given instance, and can help come up with ideas to fix these issues if necessary, as well as make other suggestions that could improve the work if requested. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I may not catch every instance of grammar/spelling, as my eyes do sometime tire, and very minor plot holes may escape. |
