Who I am as a beta-reader...? Not exactly sure what my job would be, but I'd comply with the person I'm beta-reading for. I'd be respectful and because I'd be 'working for them', I'd see them as a 'boss' that's to be obeyed. Although, I'll immediately give respect, but I do expect it in return.

I like to read a lot, so I usually can understand things very quickly. I like to preserve personality in writing, as well, so I would check and 'correct' errors while attempting to not ruin the sentence structures and usage of words that is unique to each person. If you need an explanation for anything, as well, I could give a little lesson explaining why.

I tend to get lost in the reading, and sometimes miss any errors made. I also have a hard time bringing up anything that I think will make people feel humiliated due to a timid personality. I also get bored easily, so I might end up not paying attention, as well. And due to that "understanding things very quickly", I might understand something that others wouldn't. Which is very bad. That, and because I don't like to infringe upon the personality created by the original, it's highly likely that I wouldn't inform of 'better words' to use in a certain situation, or 'better wordings'. (Considering I don't see any as 'bad'.)

I sort of like to read characters that I know, so I know their personalities, but I will make exceptions. I'll read just about anything.

Well, I most certainly will not be reading anything that is not written appropriately. If the document that you want me to read is not in paragraph form with correct grammar, then I shall not even attempt at reading it. If it's anything got to do with cannibalism or...anything that is considered "socially unacceptable" it likely that it will be turned down. If it's minimal or there's a certain plot reason behind it, I will yield. But if it's mindless, then I would have to decline.
