I decided to become a beta-reader so that I can become more picky with my own work. A lot of the stuff that I write at school often have mistakes in them, and I never have time to go over it, so my mark gets /

I'll read the whole story/chapter before I make checks, to make sure they fit. Once I've made all of the final checks, I'll read the story/chapter over again.

I'm very good at spotting spelling/grammar mistakes as I'm going along, even if I'm not looking for it. br /

If you want me too, I'm also happy to change words so that there's a more extended vocabulary and try and make characters seem more in character. It depends on how well I know the series to be honest.

I can't type exceptionally fast, faster than some, but slower than others. I can't write comedy very well, I can check comedy, but, don't ask me to improve it. I'm not a fan of writing action in terms of a large fight scene. Also, if the story has no paragraph breaks and it's just a long block of text, I won't do a good job checking it, I doubt I'll finish reading it.
