I am studying Creative Writing for Entertainment in university, so my skill level will keep on growing with time. I am an avid supporter of constructive criticism, so I will carefully read any story given to me and will make sure to point out any weak points I identify, giving advice on how to improve them and trying my best to give the author a wide range of options for them to choose from. The time I take on proofreading a work will depend on its length and the amount of free time I count with at the moment. Thus, I would expect the writer to be patient and polite throughout the whole process. Lastly, I would like to remind the authors that the story belongs to them in the end and that they are in no way forced to make the changes I might suggest. Therefore, I encourage reasonable debates over the options I give as long as they remain polite and the opinions of both sides are respected.

I mainly focus on the literary analysis of a story to make sure that the main idea is being expressed as good as it deserves. Plot and character development, imagery, symbols and many other literary devices are just a small example of everything a writer should keep in mind while creating a story. I also try to make sure that the characters are not OOC and that the plot is fluent and logical if it's following a specific timeline.

Seeing how english is not my native language, a couple grammar errors might elude me during the proofreading and I apologize beforehand for that. I tend to catch most of the spelling errors, though I like to believe those have already been corrected by the writers themselves if they are using a program such as Microsoft Word (at least the most obvious ones).

I prefer stories that are set in the original fandom's universe seeing as they provide some kind of a guideline on how the characterization should be and what is deemed "normal" or "natural" in that world. However, I will gladly take the challenge of an AU if it's interesting enough. I also don't have any problems with crossovers as long as they are only between two fandoms and I know at least one of them (I'm willing to research the second one).

I don't and won't betaread lemons or any stories containing full out gore, I've never even read them so I wouldn't be of any help anyways. I'm not a supporter of love triangles and stories with author notes added in-between sentences either, so I will refrain from betareading those too.
