Courtesy of my English teachers, I am a bit of a grammar fanatic. Well, grammar and spelling. I try to be as nice as possible when it comes to corrections, but if I think the story itself is bad, I will speak up about it. I may or may not nudge pieces here and there if I think they could be better enmeshed. If you don't want me doing this, say so. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I can seperate the differences of two/to/too, where/were/we're/wear, and all other fun literary tangles. Punctuation is a thing I keep a close eye on. Spelling as well. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I do tend to read quick and skim over the mistakes, unless they're glaringly obvious. This usually happens when I'm engrossed in the story. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
Not really. I like all sorts of stories. I'm not too big on extreme-romance, but otherwise, I'm generally okay. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
m-preg, incest, and graphic violence. And please, for the love of the gods, research your topics. |
