Honestly; I'm not harsh, I'm not brutal, and I'm not cruel in my beta style. I will read and reread your work about five times over to get a feel for it and to properly edit it, but, I'm not going to cut holes in it with a knife. Unless your grammar or spelling is really that bad, and I have read some that honestly needed to be completely rewritten. My only expectation of anyone who wishes me to beta read for them is they need to be clear about what they want, and need to give me a solid deadline. I have other projects to work on, and don't have time to be dallying with haphazard beta projects.

Grammar, spelling, and the development of good characterization would be my main strengths. Beyond that I have quite a few others in the department of sentence structuring that I excel at as well.

It depends on the story and the writer's attitude. If I don't know what the writer wants the attitude to be, I can't beta read properly. I do have the misfortune of having misconstrued different moods and emotions in writing before because of poor communication between either the writer and myself or the work itself and myself.

I am a reader, so most literature I can easily betaread. And if it isn't a book or series I've read it's not like I can't get a book or two and see if you're portraying (if you're going for a true portrayal) the characters in the correct way. I am also a film student, so even films are pretty easy for me to betaread and still balance out truth in literature for originality. Again, it really all depends on you as the writer to communicate to me; are you writing Canon or AU? Or even completely Non-Canon. You've got to let me know, alright?

Cross-Overs. I honestly dislike most of them, sorry if you write them. I don't ever get them.
