According to web a beta reader (or betareader, or beta) is a person who reads a work of fiction with a critical eye, with the aim of improving grammar, spelling, characterization, and general style of a story prior to its release to the general public. I am a good reader who reads at a college level. I also read very fast. I can also function by helping you to strive for writing better by also giving you by giving you challenges or a set of rules for a FF. I can tell you what type of stories that I as a reader am looking forward to reading. I know that muses work on their own time so I don't like to pressure people. But I will also nudge you when I feel that it is taking a long time to update.

I live in the USA so can give tips on the usage of American slang. I have a large vocabulary and know the rules in the use for the following words: To, too, two, there, their, and they're. I am good at catching when you use the wrong name for a character.

Unfortunatly as you can tell grammer and spelling are not my strengths but I can still usually catch when a simple word is spelled wrong or that you're using a word in the wrong way.

I will beta many types of stories including lemons or limes. I know this sounds strange but also rape when the would be raper or perpetrator will be caught by the law. Strange I know but I get that from watching to many Law and Order SVU. I do have preferred couples that I will beta for as long as you tell me upfront who will end up with whom that's fine or even if you don't know. I only feel comfortable Betaing for stories that I know what you are talking about so that I can help with characterizations.

I am not okay with incest and sexual abuse in children that takes place in the writers stroy. It can happen to the characters, but I wont read if you write it as a romatic situation.
