All right so I've never done beta reading online, only on paper. I've been editing my friend's work since 10th grade and that was 7 years ago. I'm always mentally correcting things in my head as I read online so that's a good sign. I am really a grammar type person. I fix that, punctuation, capitalization, and little things like that. If I read a sentence and it doesn't "flow" I will correct it only if I know what you are trying to say with it. Otherwise I will make notes about fixing the sentence.

I pick up on words that were typed incorrectly. Like if you type "of" and mean "for" or "wear" and "where." I do the same thing when I'm writing. I know which one goes there but whether or not that's what my fingers actually type is the next thing. I think I'm a little too honest sometimes. My mental red pen has destroyed many stories I've read.

I think I over kill sometimes. So I try to just stick with the flow of things and leave the content alone. Also, I love a lot of dialouge in a story so that's a lot of what my writing is and somtimes it needs to be more desciptive.

Harry Potter, Twilight, Labyrinth, Pretty Little Liars are what I'm really into. I can beta other things, but if I haven't watched/read it, I can really only edit the look of it because I won't know the content.

I'm not really big into sci-fi. Aliens and things like that are just too weird.
