I generally like to read the entire chapter/story and then go back and comment on it. I can do in depth critique or just some basic stuff depending on what you want. Generally, when I start a story I'll stay committed and if I'm not going to be able to do it, I will inform you. I tend to get attached to stories and character so apart from the fact that it would be against my credo to abandon your fic, I probably just wouldn't be able to pull myself away.br /

Wherever applicable, I'll be researching the facts that you put in and referencing them from the books. I'm willing to do a small amount of research and book referencing even before you write the story. br /

I'm Indian so if you're putting a story there or somewhere around the area and need info on mythology,language, culture etc., I'll be happy to help you.br /

Me being Indian also means that I spell stuff the British way. If you use American spellings, I can accept that but I might occasionally correct a spelling not realizing that you're just spelling it the American way. If I do that, please just tell me.br /

In general, I will be honest while beta reading your stories but I'll be helping not putting you down.

I'm good with humour of any kind. I'm also pretty decent at romance. I generally have the ability to keep stories from becoming too cheesy and/or sappy. br /

If you're the kind of author who likes stuffing in as much symbolism as possible, I'm probably the best beta for you. I love making obscure references to various events. I also like creating new history. (as long as it doesn't' mess with real facts/canon)br /

I'm a perfectionist and I'll go over your stories with a magnifying glass, picking out even the smallest typos and grammatical errors. Even though English is not my first language, I'm pretty fluent so you don't need to worry about grammatical errors on my part. I'm also good at finding appropriate words in various situations. br /

Characterization is another thing I'm good at. Whether you're worried about making sure your characters don't go OOC or just trying to give personality to an OC, I can help you.

I suck big time at action sequences. I'm also pretty bad with descriptions. People (appearances) I can kind of do, places and events not so much.

Humor is great for me. Whether it's complete crack or just plain sarcastic, I'd love to do it. I'm fine with both one-shots/two-shots and multichapter stories. Parodies are good. I generally prefer canon pairings when it comes to romance. I also like stories that deal with side characters. I prefer canon characters to OCs.

I don't do slash, period. I respect the fact that many writers and readers like slash but I personally prefer cross-gender pairings. I'm also not willing to do stories with high sexual content or extreme torture. I dislike teacher/student pairings. I also dislike OC pairings for major canon characters but I'm fine with OCs for minor characters.
