I have been told that I am very picky. I have read sentences where I cannot where the author is heading with them, so I tell the author to just rewrite the sentence. I am mildly strict on grammar rules. If an author uses a banned word (such as "it"), and they do not feel they need to get rid of the word, I will not pitch a fit. One of the only rules I cannot stand seeing broken is the "good/well" rule. If I see that rule being broken, I will say something. br /br /

As to the number of chapters I can beta at once, I can usually get through two to three within a few days. My policy, though, is if I send a corrected chapter back, I want the author to look over it and send it back to me if they have any questions about what I corrected. I really do not mind reading the same chapter more than once. If I have more than two stories waiting to be read, I will not accept more until the first chapters are done.

I excel at grammar rules such as wordiness (writing a sentence in thirty words that could be written in ten), subject/verb agreement, "banned words" (based on my own style. Words such as it, something, anyone), usage, etc. I also do not mind checking for

Comma rules have not been my strong point. I have become much better recently, but I am not perfect, and I do not catch every mistake. The same goes with semicolons.

I am fairly lax about what I read. I do not mind M rated stories nor do I mind anything beyond the traditional maleXfemale pairing, I am open minded.

I do not like crack fics. Humor is okay, but pointless stories do not sit well with me.
