haha. this all sounds so formal but i basically cringe when i read a good story that has SEVERAL grammatical errors and is unnecessarily over worded. not to say that i am perfect in both these dimensions (because i'm not) but i think i can help in spotting certain obvious errors and making a story run smoothly. also, probably the whole OOC thing a number of people have going on is rather frustrating and i think i could help in that direction as well. i love good character development and the author is not always able to be objective in their own stories so i think i could spot whether the plotline is moving too fast, if it's too empty or if there is simply no plot line.br /br /

i generally read through a story once or twice and give a general synopsis before going into detail. also, i'm not so harsh but i do not back off from my opinion even though i'd never force anyone to go with my views. ^^

i am good with the characters of books and shows i've read/watched so i could easily spot if someone is OOC and probably help with rectifying the problem. general angst and description of intense emotions is definitely my forte and i think i could help with balancing it out or not. ofcourse good grammatical english is a large standing area for me and i think i am pretty good with it. also simple mistakes like 'turned on his HEAL' instead of HEEL or 'could care less' rather than 'couldN'T care less' disturb me, so rest assured the work i beta will not have this...just saying.^^

most certainly humor and light heartedness are my weakest points. i do try to rectify these in my stories but i must say i suck. the most i could do in this area is actually tell if a story is funny or not. also, no lemons pleasebr /br /

stories that are largely horribly written and display the characters grossly out of their own originalities frustrate me. i guess i don't have much patienece with these but i will try as much as i can to count to ten if presented with some.

short tales with a witty touch to them. also perhaps a layering of humor will do me some good. deeply intellectual and highly emotional stories are like crack to me. ^^

yaoi, yuri, cheesy romances and stories that have no plotline except to make fun of other stories...what people like to refer to as 'parodies'
