I speak and write english english, rather than american or canadian english. This could be a blessing or a curse. If I decide I like a fandom, I will learn a lot about it in a short space of time.

Technique as a beta reader for me would probably be, read it once for tone/sense/enjoyment, then go back and do the detail more slowly. I have a fairly busy life, so I cannot promise that I will get back to you within 24 hours, but it would be rare for me to take more than 48 to get to a message. I could probably beta fairly fast.

Well, if you're trying to write Magnus's or Druitt's dialect, I would probably be useful. It is my mother tongue. Also, my grammar is good. and I'll tend to pick up things like homonym errors and typos. I'm also a 'specialist' in biology and medicine. I'm willing to check medical stuff in any fandom (more or less) for appropriate effects of an injury, appropriate course of disease, what medics should do in a given situation et cetera. I have drug protocols available for Marvel Super Soldiers on request.

Comma use is a foreign language to me. I don't get Vala, so I can't really deal with her. Kate has a similar issue to a lesser extent, so does Stark. American or canadian english is a problem too. I can be a bit blind to tone in my own writing, so presumably as a beta too.

Headfics, character analyasis or just straight action. Anything you might find on the show also counts. Helen/John ship or Sam/Jack rated no higher than a T also eagerly read. Happy enough with apocafics, AU so long as they're not too off the wall and willing to attempt humour. Not deterred by liberal guts or blood, or drawn to them. Can take or leave. Will accept ships so long as they're not Helen/Nikola if they have strong foundation in the show, regardless of orientation.

Will dabble in light Ms for violence, but absolutely no M romance. I'm no help for romance anyway. Similarly useless in westerns. Anything along the lines of all humans are evil I doubt I'll enjoy, which will bias my feed back. I will tend to be sceptical of any non- Sam/Jack or Helen/John ship stuff that involves those characters (especially Helen/Nikola), but can still do language corrections. Will however accept pre-cannon Magnus/OC. I don't ever read intimate romance. Also, I dislike ships which have no cannon basis at all (including those which mistake filios love for eros; Stucky, Thorki, Romanogers...).
