Personally, I am immensely proud of myself when someone asks me for help, as it means they trust me to give clear judgement and advice, so I try and give the best advice possible. I try my best to go through every story logically, but this can be a drawback as well. If someone wishes me to betaread their stories, I do expect them to have at least made a reasonable attempt to not make spelling or grammar errors.

I find it easy to understand when a writer suddenly gets an idea and tries to write a story about it, as it has happened to me, so I find it easier to read over stories based around sudden inspirations and give feedback based on those types of stories.I also do my best to give open, honest reviews as often as I can.

I have slight tendencies to be overly logical when reading a story, and can sometimes be a little lenient when it comes to reviewing.

I'm certainly a sap for a good romance story, especially if it involves a relationship between characters I like seeing together.

Immensely gory stories. I can handle some degree of gore, but when people just start killing characters for no reason at all, that makes me angry.
