Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
First off, I'm not afraid to be harsh sometimes. If you can't take constructive critism, then I'm not the beta for you. I don't like to sugar coat. I'm really big on grammer, spelling, and imagery! More and more often, people ignore these things, that's where most the stories are lacking, in my opinion. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I think that I'm pretty good at picking out spelling and grammer errors. They are my biggest pet peeve, along with too much dialogue. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I'm not that great with adding a lot of detail, so sometimes I miss things like that when I read. I'm more of a grammer nut. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I prefer OC stories with an original plot, but if it's a used plot with a twist, I like it. And, I do like cannon parings, but I also enjoy original pairs. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
Any slash pairings! I can't stand those! And anything with major OOCness (a little is fine) |
