I'm up for just about anything, love all styles of writing and love words in general. I would expect you to have at least proof read and/or spell checked. Also, no caps lock.

Spelling and grammar generally. Also I can usually tell when a character sounds off to me. Also generally know what bits need more padding and what bits need to be kept shorter and things like that. I can tell what's important to a story and what's frivolous.

Repetitive spelling mistakes hurt my head, as in if every word is spelt wrong. Also if a story is too robotic I will find it hard to take seriously. Also if I really like a story I tend to get sucked into it and I could forget to lookout for problems. But then that's probably a good thing because it means the story's good..

I'm up for just about anything, though generally I would prefer characters I know. No full on OC character based stories, or Mary Sues. But I do love original characters, just throw in some familiarity. Love romance, drama, angst, adventure... Everything really. Also I loooove long fics. So the longer the better.

Okay, as I said before, I don't like stories with absolutely no recognisable characters. Not a huge fan of horror fics, though if it's good I'll read it. Not a fan of song/poem fics either. And microfics generally don't do it for me, generally like to read something that's at LEAST 8,000words or so, but I would still beta shorter stories. As I said above though, the longer the better. (200k is the dream) Obviously I understand individual chapters won't always be that lengthy, but I'm referring to the story in it's entirety, because you should have an idea of how long you would like for it to be.
