Hey, I'm Jackie and my favourite pass times are reading and writing. It doesn't matter what sort of book it is, (a decent plot is good enough for me) and my writing ranges from poems, short stories and to ones of length. I'll willingly help any person who asks for my help as I do frequently with friends of my own. :) I'm currently a 2nd year Psychology Undergraduate so, by default, I do not have as much free time to write as I used to. Nonetheless, I'm still very much open to offering my assistance; I'd give you helpful hints on wording/vocabulary/expansion of your own ideas and,additionally, am brimming with ideas of my own should you wish to include them. I am currently working on my first novel and evidently appreciate all of the writing/editing practise that I can get.

I'm quite good at describing scenes and using colourful adjectives and metaphors and so on. In the stories that I write, I like to express the characters thoughts, feelings and emotional state; i feel getting to know one's characters is very important and should not be taken lightly by any means.

My weakness would probably be dialogue speaking. Although i'm not bad at it, i feel it's not as good as my level of description. However, much practise through the art of role-playing has bettered my weakness over the years.

I would love to beta-read a novel-potential story. I have no problem with helping shorter stories as i find those interesting too, but in many cases i believe it is necessary to write at a greater length to get a better feel of the story surrounding it. The genre of works is of no matter to me.

There's not really anything i wouldn't like to beta-read apart from maybe cross overs. Cross overs i find can be slightly messy and un-organised as trying to keep both book/Tv series in tact and interesting can be confusing at times. That being said, if I see potential there, I won't decline. (Additionally, there are certain coupling of which i will NOT beta-read for. These can be asked about through a private message.)
