Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
New at this beta reading business, but I thought I'd toss my hat into the ring. I tend to be annoyed by poor grammar and weak sentances, by no means am I above making the occasional mistake myself, however in my opinion both take away from a story to the point that no one wants to read it and those that do cringe at every turn. I wanna help with this because grammar is such a huge problem and many stories are not read that should be because of poor grammar. |

I'm good at repairing grammar and spelling errors and fairly good at spotting weak sentances. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Correct paragraph structure as far as fanfiction.net is concerned is my major weakness, I nearly always have to rewrite my fics because their paragraphs are too cramped. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
Romance particularly Bleach, Final Fantasy 8, or Fallout and Action, but I'll beta pretty much any genre. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
Yaoi is really not my cup of tea, no offence to anyone who writes/likes yaoi, its just not my thing. |
