Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Hi all. I'm a teacher by profession so I'm pretty used to reading things people have written. I'm optimistic so I like to focus on the positives, although I will be honest. Any Ashes/LOM stories anyone wants a second pair of eyes for and I'm more than happy to have a browse. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Grammar, spelling, punctuation...I'm a comma fiend (though I'm prone to typos in my own stuff, I miss pen and paper!) I love the smut so no worries about that sort of content. now and again I have a lot of marking etc, but generally I will turn things around quickly. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I can spot plot holes, but I'm not a master of writing plot, so I might not always have a suggestion to offer. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
As I said I like the smut, Galex, angst etc, but as long as it's A2A or LOM I'm happy. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
Don't think so, but if it's Gene/Sam slash then I'm probably not the best person to ask, as I don't get that at all, but hey I'll give it a go! |
